A puppy at home is happiness - but sometimes also quite a challenge for the whole family.
Along with joy comes curiosity, the desire to take part in everything, endless energy, sharp little teeth, and all kinds of mischief.
It’s all completely natural - puppies grow and learn about the world this way.

With patience, understanding, and the right tools, we can help our puppies use their energy in a healthy way - keeping their minds active while teaching them the life skills we want them to learn. We’ve prepared a starter pack recommended and used by dog behavior specialists and many happy puppy guardians.

    LickiMat Slomo

Perfect for both small and large puppies.
Thanks to its unique texture and durable material, the LickiMat Slomo is one of the longest-lasting and most chew-resistant LickiMat products - making it ideal for puppies and young, active dogs.

Licking is a calming activity that releases endorphins, improving your dog’s wellbeing and creating a healthy, lasting kind of tiredness.
Use a lick mat daily in situations where you want to help your puppy learn calmness and focus - or simply to relax and stay engaged. When frozen in advance, it can soothe sore gums during teething and prolong the licking experience.

    Sniffing Mat

For small breed puppies, we recommend a small mat; for medium and large breeds, choose a medium or large one.
This is a great foundational toy - food is easy to find, preventing frustration or discouragement if the challenge is too hard. It’s an excellent tool to build focus, concentration, and mental stimulation, while keeping your puppy happily occupied and tired in a healthy way. As your puppy grows, you can increase the challenge by moving to a sniffing ball or snake.

Sniffing is a natural investigative activity that provides “food for the brain.” It engages your dog’s mind, creating mental stimulation, healthy fatigue and a deep sense of satisfaction.
The mat can be used daily in routines or moments when you want your puppy to learn calm focus, self-regulation, and patience.

    Tug of War Rope

For small breeds, we recommend size XS; for medium and large breed puppies choose S size. All The Woof Toys ropes are 1.30 m long, keeping your hands safe from sharp puppy teeth while making the game more dynamic and fun. Play is essential for every puppy -  not only to burn energy but also to strengthen the bond with their guardian and learn valuable skills.

Through tug play, you can teach your puppy to balance excitement and calm, practice the “drop it” command, and use the tug toy as a wonderful tool to redirect attention when your puppy wants to run to other dogs or people - showing that focusing on their guardian is always rewarding and worthwhile.

    Interactive puzzles

All puzzles are suitable for puppies of all sizes. We recommend starting with Level 1 puzzles that gradually develop concentration skills and encourage your puppy not only to sniff out treats but also to think and act physically, building problem-solving ability, courage and focus.

    Treats

Treats serve as motivation and a tool for rewarding and reinforcing desired behaviors. By using treats and gradually increasing their number in the toys, you extend playtime and strengthen learned skills.

Play is not just about throwing a ball or running with other dogs.
By choosing thoughtful, purposeful, and enriching play, you help your puppy grow into a balanced, calm, and happy dog.
